Announcing the release of The Awful Kind, an award-winning, Female-Driven One Take Western short film. The Awful Kind takes place after a horribly unsuccessful train robbery; the surviving gang of thieves begin to suspect they've been set up. The film was funded by Executive Producers Lauren Telegdy, Brick-It Entertainment, Francine Roussy, and Keith Taite.

Today, Compton rapper The Game shares the soulful new jam “Stainless” featuring Grammy winning artist Anderson .Paak. Produced by Big Duke, The Game rides over a sweet-sounding smooth West Coast track with an effortless flow reminiscing over Nipsey Hussle, 2Pac, Fatal Hussein, Yaki Kadafi, Orlando “Baby Lane” Anderson and 2Pac. A music video for the song was filmed in LA earlier this month. The track will appear on The Game's ninth studio album Born 2 Rap available via Entertainment One/Prolific/5th Amendment Entertainment on November 29th, 2019. 

Circle in the Square Theatre School, the only professional actor training program affiliated with a Broadway theatre, is has announced it is now accepting applications for its new and exciting B.F.A. in Theatre and Musical Theatre in conjunction with Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, Florida.

To honor its recent Emmy nominees, SHOWTIME has released the premiere episodes of ESCAPE AT DANNEMORA,BLACK MONDAY and WHO IS AMERICA? for free online, on streaming platforms and on demand. The network was honored with a total of 18 Emmy nominations, including 12 nominations for ESCAPE AT DANNEMORA which earned a nod for Outstanding Limited Series. Freshman comedy BLACK MONDAY received an Emmy nomination for series star Don Cheadle for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series. Variety and PBS SoCal announced today the actor lineup and schedule for the tenth season of their EMMY®Award-winning Variety Studio: Actors on Actors. The new season will include exclusive one-on-one conversations between top acting talent from this year's most notable television  shows who are expected to contend this Emmy season. The first two episodes will premiere on PBS SoCal on Tuesday, June 18 at 7:00 p.m. and episodes three and four will premiere on Thursday, June 20 at 7:00 p.m.  All episodes will stream on pbssocal.organd on the free PBS Video app following their premieres.

Bay Street Theater & Sag Harbor Center for the Arts is pleased to announce Walker Vreeland's FROM SHIP TO SHAPE will be performed one night only on Monday, June 10 at 7 pm. The show comes to the East End following an extended sold-out run Off-Broadway. The solo performance stars and is written by award-winning radio personality Walker Vreeland. The show is a compelling autobiographical monologue and includes songs performed by Mr. Vreeland.

Last night, the Critics' Choice Awards were announced. Taking home the top prize of Best Picture was Roma. Also, in a surprising turn of events, both Lady Gaga and Glenn Close took home the award for Best Actress, for A Star is Born and The Wife, respectively.
