Crowded Fire Theater (CFT), known as a vital home for new play development and production on the West Coast, announced Ard, Keiko Shimosato Carreiro, Everett Elton Bradman, Erin Gilley, and Ashley Smiley as the fourth year IGNITE FUND awardees. The IGNITE FUND awards $10,000 in total annually to support the growth of and enhance the working lives of Bay Area theater designers and technicians through a competitive grant process.

Turning Point Ensemble (TPE), Vancouver's outstanding chamber ensemble, is excited to announce its 2019/20 season! The rich and varied program will deliver the outstanding musicianship and innovative presentations that are signatures of the TPE experience. This year's season is especially strong in exciting new works and meaningful integrated collaborations with guest ensembles, soloists and composers. We are excited to present new works featuring Couloir (cellist Ariel Barnes and harpist Heidi Krutzen) , a jazz-inspired evening with the Bergmann Duo and Brad Turner, a remarkable new cross-cultural dance/music collaboration, Flying Whitee??c?? , with Wen Wei Dance, and a final concert featuring Croatian conductor Berislav Šipuš of the Cantus Ensemble conducting TPE in a program of new Croatian works with soprano soloist Robyn Driedger-Klassen.

Claudia Corrieri Literary Prize Will Fund Writers' Scholarships At Two NYC Drama Schools In 2020

In 2020, for the second year, the Claudia Corrieri Literary Prize, a scholarship fund, will be awarded to actors, playwrights and screenwriters at two institutions: Manhattan's Barrow Group Theater Company and School and Brooklyn's Terry Knickerbocker Studio. The grants, valued at $1,500 each, will help fund writing classes to be selected at the student's discretion at both schools.
