BUNNICULA to Bring Book Series to Life at Maryland Ensemble Theatre

Maryland Ensemble Theatre (MET) presents Jon Klein's howlingly funny Bunnicula, based on the successful book series by James and Deborah Howe. Directed by Ensemble Company member Matt Lee who shares one reason for his love of directing for kids, "Theatre is a unique opportunity to directly engage our youth in the art of storytelling.  I am thrilled to be bringing one of my favorite children's books to life onstage for families to enjoy." The play will run at MET for four weeks beginning September 24.        (more...)

Maryland Ensemble Theatre's (MET) family theatre, The Fun Company, will present, 'The Little Prince'. Based on the book by Antoine de Saint-Exupery and adapted by Rick Cummins and John Scoullar, 'The Little Prince', is an imaginative story of an unlikely friendship between an aviator who lands in the Sahara Desert and a tiny prince who has fallen from the sky. The Prince tells tales of life and lessons learned among the stars. A show entertaining for the whole family, it will run at MET this February for ten performances over five weeks. 'It's a true ensemble piece that is full of enchantment and heart,' said Fun Company Artistic Director Julie Herber. 'This is going to be a special treat for families to share together and it's our hope that it will spark many thoughtful discussions.' (more...)
