The Media Theatre celebrated with Broadway stars, regional VIP's, politicians, and dignitaries on Saturday February 25 for its most successful fundraising Gala ever. The 23rd annual Gala, 'Star Struck', featured a headlining performance by Tony winning actress Alice Ripley.

In the nearly 4-year-run of the Broadway smash, Matilda the Musical, there have been five sets of Matildas. 19 girls have played the role on Broadway and, for the first time ever, all five 'generations' of Matildas performed together in one exciting concert event at Feinstein's/54 Below. These precocious young ladies performed some of their favorite songs from Broadway and beyond. For four years, they have proven 'even if you're little, you can do a lot.'

The Tony Award® winning Matilda the Musical will close on January 1, 2017, after playing 37 previews, 1,555 regular performances, and one Actors Fund performance. The production opened on April 11, 2013 (previews began March 4) at the Shubert Theatre (225 West 44th Street). The show just celebrated its 1500th performance and BroadwayWorld was on hand for the special day. Check out photos below!

BROADWAY BARKS just held their 18th annual star-studded dog and cat adoption event to benefit New York City animal shelters and adoption agencies. Founded by Bernadette Peters and Mary Tyler Moore, Broadway Barks featured a slew of celebrities from the hottest shows on Broadway.
