Producing Artistic Director Mei Ann Teo and Musical Theatre Factory present the Developmental Residency presentation of Agent 355, a new punk-rock musical with Music, Lyrics, and Book by Preston Max Allen and Book and Dramaturgy by Jessica Kahkoska. Agent 355 is directed by Estefania Fadul and features music direction and orchestrations by Madeline Smith ,with General Management by Simpson & Longthorne Theatricals and MTF Creative Producing by Maggie Snyder.

What might you expect if you find yourself caught up in the spectacle of the Broadway Princess Party's festivities at Tennessee Performing Arts Center's James K. Polk Theatre on Friday, November 16? A theatrical concert like none other, predicts Laura Osnes, one of the three aforementioned princesses of the Great White Way who will bring their magical blend of entertainment, theatrical revelry, onstage magic - and pure, unadulterated pleasure (and boatloads of fun, we suspect) - to Music City for a one-night stand that promises to leave audiences feeling 'transported, enchanted, empowered and inspired.'

The Alley Theatre announces the line-up for the 2019 Alley All New Festival, January 18 - January 27, 2019. The fourth annual Festival will feature a world premiere production, readings and workshop performances of five new plays, as well as an Early Draft Preview of a new musical. Festival playwrights include Robert Askins, Hilary Bettis, Glen Berger, Chisa Hutchinson, Claire Kiechel, Don Nguyen, and Lawrence Wright. Special packages are available for the final weekend of the Festival and include prime seating at all presentations, exclusive artist access, and meals between performances. Emerging theater for young audiences, Rebel Playhouse, is thrilled to announce the cast of its next world premiere production, THE FANTASTICAL DANGEROUS JOURNEY OF Q, written by Ric Averill with music and additional lyrics by Dax Dupuy, directed by Sarah Sutliff, with music direction by Christina Bottley, and co-presented by The Theater at the 14th Street Y. The show tells the story of Q, an upper elementary student struggling with gender and identity issues.

Everyone's favorite characters from Cleveland Street are back for their 11th production with Cleveland Play House (CPH) during the 2018 holiday season. A Christmas Story will once again delight Cleveland audiences with the story you know and love, based on the original motion picture that was filmed in Cleveland. CPH's production of A Christmas Story has quickly become an annual holiday tradition for families of all generations. Each year, these performances attract thousands of new guests to live theatre at Cleveland Play House. Previews begin November 23rd with press opening on November 30th at the Allen Theatre in Playhouse Square. This production will be sponsored by Dollar Bank and Pinecrest.

Theatre Communications Group (TCG), the national organization for theatre, is pleased to announce the recipients of the second and third rounds of the 2018 Edgerton Foundation New Play Awards. The awards, totaling $1,114,000 allow 27 productions extra time for the development and rehearsal of new plays with the entire creative team, hoping to extend the life of the world premiere play after its first run.
