MADAM SECRETARY Reveals Series Finale Guest Stars

he series finale of MADAM SECRETARY will feature a host of esteemed guest stars who will help celebrate the critically acclaimed series' six-year run. The episode will air Sunday, Dec. 8 (10:30-11:30 PM, ET/10:00-11:00 PM, PT) on the CBS Television Network.

Disney+ to Release HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL: THE MUSICAL: THE SERIES Soundtrack

The soundtrack from the highly-anticipated Disney+ a?oeHigh School Musical:  The Musical: The Seriesa?? will be available for pre-order beginning tomorrow, November 8. The Disney+ series will generate over 40 pieces of music and content.  The High School Musical: The Musical: The Series cast members penned two of the new songs for the Walt Disney Records OST. a?oeJust A Momenta?? (airing January 3, 2020) was co-written by Joshua Bassett (Ricky) and Olivia Rodrigo (Nini) as well as Dan Book, who also produced the track. a?oeAll I Wanta?? was written by Olivia Rodrigo and is set to air November 29.

ABC, Disney Channel and Freeform a?" will present the first episode of 'High School Musical: The Musical: The Series' for one night only, FRIDAY, NOV. 8 (8:00 p.m. EST), in advance of the series' bow on the highly anticipated streaming service, Disney+ (launching Tuesday, Nov. 12).

Southern Halo Joins Pepsi MidAmerica's Country4Country Kickoff Concert Lineup

Fast-rising dynamic sister trio Southern Halo has joined Pepsi MidAmerica's Country4Country campaign and will take the stage at the official kickoff concert on July 21 in Marion, IL at Rent One Park. Headliners include Country superstars Lady Antebellum, platinum-selling artist Chris Janson, Billboard 'Artist to Watch' Jordan Davis, and rising Country artist Tucker Beathard. Opening acts scheduled to appear alongside Southern Halo are Ashlyn Grayce, James Robert Webb, Lexanna and Elvie Shane.

Alistair McDowall's POMONA to Play Steep This Summer

Steep Ensemble Member Robin Witt will close out the company's 18th season with Alistair McDowall's Pomona. McDowall was the playwright behind Steep's 2015 hit Brilliant Adventures, which marked his U.S debut and was also directed by Witt. His work has been produced extensively, including productions at the Royal Court, the National Theatre, and the Royal Exchange. McDowall is a Bruntwood Prize winner and recipient of the 2018 Pinter Commission from the Royal Court. Robin Witt is a longtime director at Steep whose work includes the 2018 hit Linda and Cordelia Lynn's Lela & Co, which won 2018 Jeff Awards for Director, Production, and Performer in a Principal Role.

Theatre Tuscaloosa will present its summer musical, Grease, July 12-21 in the Bean-Brown Theatre on the Martin Campus of Shelton State Community College.

Winners Announced For The 5th Avenue Theatre Awards

It was the most anticipated night of the year by high school theater programs across the state of Washington: The 17th Annual 5th Avenue Theatre Awards Honoring High School Musicals, proudly sponsored by Wells Fargo with additional support from Alaska Airlines. Presented at The 5th Avenue Theatre, more than 2,000 teenagers, many in costumes representing their schools' musical theater productions, cheered for their peers as they performed musical excerpts and accepted awards honoring top student achievements in musical theater. The acclaimed event, directed this year by Kat Ramsburg, handed out awards in 21 categories ranging from Outstanding Overall Musical Production to Outstanding Lobby Display.
