Lone Star Theatre Co announces the Spooky-Ooky Autumn Concert-Palooza and Costume Party on Monday October 21st at the West End Lounge. The music extravaganza, directed by Jay Levy with music direction by Karl Hedrick will be a celebration of all things spooky featuring old time favorites, brand new songs, and some of your favorite show tunes.
In only it's second year, the Wet Paint - New Play Festival has managed to round up B'way veterans (Johanna Leister, Layan Elwazani), TV stars (Christopher Shyer, Rachel Handler), & Amazon Best-Selling authors (Edward Medina) to participate in a barebones development series of short-performances. This year's festival has a theme: Walls, and with that theme, Point-Blank Theatre Co. received a unique submission. William Hobbs, a member of Voices Inside, an inmate writing/theatre program at Northpoint Training Center in KY, submitted his play, A Spider's Web and was accepted among dozens of NYC playwright applicants.

BASIC GLITCH, the first full-length play by NYC playwright Stephanie Salazar-Amaro, is an official selection of the 2019 Broadway Bound Theatre Festival. The show is set to have its world premiere Off-Broadway at The Lion Theater in the Theatre Row complex on 42nd Street. Opening night will be August 6, 2019, with an additional performances on August 7th & 9th before a closing encore performance on August 21st.
SOME ASSEMBLY REQUIRED, a new short play by playwright Stephanie Salazar-Amaro, will be presented as part of the New York Theater Festival's SummerFest 2018. The show is set to have its world premiere on September 13th at The Hudson Guild Theater in Chelsea, with an additional performance on August 14th before closing on August 16th.
