Featuring hit songs like, 'Good Morning Star Shine' and 'Aquarius', Hair was the first rock musical on Broadway, and tells the story of the 'tribe', a group of politically active, long-haired hippies during the anti-war, sexual revolution of the 1960s.

The Art Institute announced today that the museum has appointed architectural historian and curator Irene Sunwoo to be the John H. Bryan Chair and Curator, Architecture and Design. Sunwoo joins the Art Institute from the Columbia University's Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation, where she has been Curator of the Arthur Ross Architecture Gallery and Director of Exhibitions since 2016.

Spearheaded by a female-driven production team, Lysistrata tells the tale of a determined cheerleader who leads the students around her in a battle of the sexes. With a rocking score written by Lewis Flinn and book by five-time Tony nominee Douglas Carter Beane, the show will be an immersive experience performed on a faux basketball court at the back of the Variety Boys and Girls Club in Queens. Zimmerli Art Museum Appoints New Curator; Promotes Two More

New Brunswick, NJ – The Zimmerli Art Museum at Rutgers welcomed a new appointment and announced two promotions to key museum positions in February. Amanda Potter, most recently Educator for Public and University Programs at the Wexner Center for the Arts at The Ohio State University in Columbus, joined the Zimmerli staff as Curator of Education and Interpretation on February 1. Christine Giviskos, Ph.D., and Julia Tulovsky, Ph.D., both associate curators at the Zimmerli since 2007, have been promoted to curator and head of their respective departments. Giviskos now serves as Curator of Prints, Drawings, and European Art, and Tulovsky as Curator of Russian and Soviet Nonconformist Art.
