The opening night celebration of THE WONDERFUL WINTER OF OZ on December 14 will also serve as a benefit for the GiveKidsPanto program.  Lythgoe Family Panto created GiveKidsPanto, a non-profit educational program, serving over 6,000 Title 1 students across America annually. For many of these students, this is their first opportunity to see live theater.  GiveKidsPanto raises funds, which allows each LFP production across the country to add a student matinee to their performance schedule.  The funds raised through GiveKidsPanto go to facilitate the student's bus transportation to and from the theater as well as buy the tickets to the performances.  Last year at the Pasadena Civic alone, over 2,000 students from the Pasadena and Greater Los Angeles area schools were brought in to see a performance of Beauty and the Beast: A Christmas Rose.  For more information please contact events@americanpanto.com

Andrea Bocelli has enlisted a group of stellar duet partners for his new album 'Si.' Bocelli reunites with his friend Ed Sheeran after their chart-topping 'Perfect Symphony' on the brand new song called 'Amo Soltanto Te' (written by Ed with lyrics by Tiziano Ferro) and also joins pop sensation Dua Lipa on the single 'If Only.' Additionally, crossover superstar Josh Groban and classical soprano Aida Garifullina duet with Bocelli on the new album, out now via Sugar/Decca.  'Si' is Bocelli's first album of new material in 14 years,featuring 16 new songs that celebrate love, family, faith and hope.

A whole lot happened in Oz before Dorothy dropped in, and Wicked has been telling that story to Broadway audiences for 15 years at the Gershwin Theatre. The milestone won't go by uncelebrated, as in just days, NBC will throw a joyous Halloween party for the ages, featuring songs from the blockbuster musical hit and a cavalcade of special guest stars, including Tony Award winners Idina Menzel and Kristin Chenoweth. Additional guest performers include Ariana Grande, Adam Lambert, Ledisi, Pentatonix and the current Broadway company of 'Wicked.' 'A Very Wicked Halloween' airs Monday Oct. 29th at 10PM ET/PT on NBC.

The Iridium has announced that legendary and multi-award winning, multi-platinum selling singer, songwriter and actress Macy Gray will return for four New Year's Eve performances on December 30th (8pm &10pm shows) and December 31st (7pm & 10:30pm NYE Ball Drop Party). The NYE Ball Drop Party will include a three-course pre fixe menu with open bar and champagne toast, as well as an escort to watch Times Square's famous midnight ball drop.

On October 30, 2003, a little show called Wicked opened at the Gershwin Theatre... the rest is history. Let us be glad! Let us be grateful and rejoycify that it is still around a whopping 15 years later, making it the sixth longest-running show in Broadway history.

Ariana Grande has announced the 'Sweetener' world tour. This is the first run of the tour, with the first leg beginning in March in New York and ending in New York City in July. More dates will come. 

Miami New Drama is proud to announce the cast for its season opener, One Night in Miami... a play with music that focuses on the night of February 25th, 1964, when a young Cassius Clay celebrated his victory over Sonny Liston with three of his closest friends - activist Malcolm X, singer Sam Cooke and football icon Jim Brown.

Shoshana Bean, the Broadway veteran and very first replacement for Elphaba, the green-skinned witch, in Wicked, brings her powerhouse vocals to The Space. Bean will perform two concerts on Oct. 25 and 26 at the performance venue just west of the Las Vegas Strip that's known for intimate and unexpected experiences. Tickets go on sale Friday, Aug. 17.
