Theatre Royal Bath today announces four additional productions - Vienna 1934-Munich 1938, The Life I Lead, Trying It On and The Man in the White Suit, to complete its Summer Season 2019 programme and further casting with Katherine Parkinson, Janie Dee as well as Vanessa Redgrave, Miles Jupp and David Edgar among the stars set to take to the stage in both treasured classics and acclaimed new works.

The Pulitzer Prize-winning musical, "Next to Normal" by Tom Kitt and Brian Yorkey opens this Friday. The production opens on April 12th at 7:30 p.m. and is directed by Craig Tyrl. "Next to Normal" tells the story of Diana Goodman and her family, struggling to find happiness and normality against a twenty-year backdrop of bi-polar disorder, depression, and grief. The musical examines mental illness and its powerful impact on the family unit.

Theatre Royal Bath Productions today announces the UK premiere of Christopher Durang's Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike as part of its 2019 Summer Season, directed by the Tony Award-winning US director Walter Bobbie. The comedy, produced by special arrangement with Joey Parnes, Larry Hirschhorn, Sue Wagner and John Johnson, will open at the Ustinov Studio where it runs from 6 June to 6 July with press night on 12 June.

This spring, seasoned Russian stage director Aleksey Burago leads a critically-acclaimed ensemble in a bold and dynamic interpretation of Anton Chekhov's timeless masterpiece The Seagull, a tragicomedy that explores the tenderness, absurdities and misunderstandings between mothers, sons, lovers, friends and servants. This production also features scenic design by Nikolay Sviridchik, a graduate of The Moscow Art Theater School and has worked at The Bolshoi and Moscow Art Theater. The cast features Michael Donaldson, Roman Freud, Kristina Korop, Alex Malyi, Luisa Menzen, Paulo Quiros, David A. Russell, Tom Schubert, Lana Stimmler, Desen Uygur, Oleksiy Varfolomiyev, Tatyana Zbirovskaya, and Di Zhu. Performances will take place April 2nd to April 19th at Pushkin Hall at 165 W86th Street in Manhattan,Tuesdays to Sundays at 8PM.
