Tampa Repertory Theatre will present Michael Frayn's Tony award-winning drama Copenhagen January 4-20, 2019 (with a paid preview performance on January 3) on the USF campus in Studio 120, 3837 USF Holly Drive, Tampa. Performances are at 8 PM on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, and at 3 PM on Sundays. Tickets are $25 ($20 student/military/senior). The Classics Theatre Project's Artistic Director Joey Folsom today announced the Company's 2019 3-play season of all-American classics. The season starts with Neil Simon's comedy "Rumors" (March 7 - 31, 2019), followed by Tennessee Williams's "Summer and Smoke" (May 29-June 23, 2019), and concluding with Arthur Miller's "The Crucible" (dates TBA).

Director Mark Giesser returns to Upstairs at the Gatehouse with George and Ira Gershwin's madcap musical hidden gem Strike Up The Band, written with George S. Kaufman in 1927. While the original script was rewritten by Morrie Ryskind in 1930, this production presents the original, with the dark satire on America's war-mongering over a trade deal re-established.

Aurora Theatre Company presents the special limited engagement of the second outing of OLGA - A Farewell Concert, a work-in-continual-progress created by Beth Wilmurt (The Letters, The Eccentricities of a Nightingale, Jack Goes Boating, Bosoms and Neglect, and Salome) and Her Band. Aurora commissioned the piece in 2017 as part of the company's Originate + Generate (O+G) new works initiative to promote the creation of forward-looking theater. OLGA - A Farewell Concert plays a limited run in the company's second stage and cabaret performance space, Harry's UpStage, just in time for the holidays.

QSTC's Playwrights of Color Summit is a week-long residency that allows previously unproduced playwrights an opportunity to work exclusively on their plays.
