Disney’s Aladdin on Broadway and WABC-TV Channel 7 Eyewitness News New York have launched a new initiative, “Magical Moments,' which offers select audience members the chance to visit backstage.

Aladdin is celebrating its 12th anniversary at the New Amsterdam Theatre on March 20th, 2026. As it plays performance 4,349 tonight, Aladdin has welcomed more than 7.2M guests to the New Amsterdam Theatre.

Playhouse Square will present a sensory-friendly performance of The Lion King, tailored to accommodate audiences with sensory sensitivities. This special event is scheduled for February 2026, offering an inclusive theater experience.

Tickets go on sale February 13 for Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, which will play the Orpheum Theatre in Memphis from June 2–7, 2026. The production is part of the first Disney-produced North American tour of the musical in more than 25 years.

The North American tour of Disney’s The Lion King will welcome Zama Magudulela as Rafiki. Magudulela will begin performances on Tuesday, January 13 in Sacramento at the Safe Credit Union Performing Arts Center.
