Griffin Theatre Company has announced casting for its Midwest premiere of Marys Seacole by Pulitzer Prize winner Jackie Sibblies Drury, directed by Jerrell L. Henderson and Hannah Todd. Launching Griffin’s 33rd season, Marys Seacole will play October 1 – November 6, 2022 on Raven Theatre’s Schwartz Stage.

The Weston Playhouse Theatre Company's $10 million capital campaign has reached another milestone with the conditional approval by the Town of Weston Zoning Board of Adjustment and the Planning Commission of the Company's plan to build a new studio theatre on the former Walker dairy farm in Weston Village.

This fall, Houston Center for Contemporary Craft (HCCC) takes on the implications of this development pattern in the national exhibition, 'SPRAWL.' Co-curated by former HCCC Curatorial Fellow, Susie J. Silbert, and former HCCC Curator, Anna Walker, 'SPRAWL' features 16 emerging and mid-career artists whose works deal with the urban landscape.

This week's Featured Art Exhibition is 'Soundforge' organized by Houston Center for Contemporary Craft and on view from May 16 to September 21 at the Museum of Contemporary Craft in Portland, OR.
