The Workers Circle will honor Tony and Emmy Award-nominated actress, singer, and activist Jessica Hecht with the Workers Circle Activism Award at the organization's Annual Benefit on December 5, 2022. The evening will also pay tribute to Jessica's late grandmother, Rose Hecht, a lifelong Workers Circle member and activist who introduced Jessica to the organization when she was a child.

As we emerge from the COVID-19 pandemic, the Workers Circle will pay tribute to frontline workers for their unwavering courage, presenting an inaugural Heroes of the Workforce/Arbeters Heldn Award to the New York Professional Nurses Union (NYPNU) on Thursday, October 7, 2021.

While the world observes International Workers Day on Friday May 1, also known as May Day, the Jewish social justice nonprofit Workers Circle will be putting the final, preparatory touches on its virtual, sing-along concert planned for Sunday May 3 at 2:00 PM.

In a time when issues of immigration, assimilation, xenophobia, and socio-economic upheaval are more present than ever, the National Yiddish Theatre Folksbiene will bring to the stage a reimagined version of Moishe Rosenfeld and Zalmen Mlotek's Amerike-The Golden Land, a musical journey of the immigration experience. Playing at the Museum of Jewish Heritage, across from the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island, from which the story has taken inspiration, this limited Off Broadway engagement opened last night and will run through August 6th. That's the theme of this year's Workmen's Circle Taste of Jewish Culture Street Festival, which features dozens of food purveyors putting their individual ethnic spins on traditional Jewish foods, on Father's Day, Sunday, June 18 from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM onSixth Avenue between 48th and 49th Streets. The festival will also feature modern takes on traditional Jewish foods; dance; music; and family-friendly activities, including arts-and-crafts.

Paula Vogel, Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright of the triple Tony Award-nominated Broadway play Indecent, was the special guest speaker at a private reception honoring Workmen's Circle Life Members on Monday, June 5.

The Workmen's Circle's third annual Taste of Jewish Culture Street Fair-a signature event featuring the city's top Jewish food vendors-will take place on Sunday, June 26 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. This year's event will be held on Sixth Avenue between 48th and 49th Streets and will feature modern takes on traditional Jewish foods, performances and activities for all ages, as well as free giveaways.
