Tonight, March 29 at 4 pm, a performance of the West Coast Premiere of THE LAST ACT OF LILKA KADISON, written by Nicola Behrman, David Kersnar, Abbie Phillips, Heidi Stillman and Andrew White and directed by Dan Bonnell, followed by a post-show Q & A with members of the creative team, and a private dinner following. This is the first association between the Falcon Theatre and Lookingglass Theatre Company of Chicago, 2011 recipient of the Tony Award for Outstanding Regional Theatre.

MainStreet Theatre Company is delighted to announce their final show of the season - the west coast premiere of Roald Dahl's The Magic Finger. British Playwright David Wood did the adaptation, which premiered at Imagination Stage in Bethesda, MD in 2013. Mr. Wood has continued to work on the play, and MainStreet will be producing a brand new version. Abigail Deser is the director. The production will play two school performances on May 2nd, and open to the public on Saturday, May 3rd at 4pm. The strictly limited engagement will run through Sunday, May 18th only.

La Miranda Theatre for the Performing Arts and McCoy Rigby Entertainment present the second production in its 2013-1014 season of shows, the Tony & Pulitzer Prize Award-winning play, RABBIT HOLE, written by David Lindsay-Abaire and directed by Michael Matthews. For diehard theatre aficionados Neil Simon's greatest plays are his autobiographical BB trio Brighton Beach Memoirs, Biloxi Blues and Broadway Bound. The first depicts his boyhood growing up in a poor Jewish family on the outskirts of New York City during the Depression, followed by his army experiences, and finally a farewell to Brighton Beach as his career as a comedy writer in radio and television was about to take off. Now onstage at La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts through Sunday October 13 only, Broadway Bound is a welcome glimpse of nostalgia circa 1949 performed by a dynamite cast under the steady direction of Jeff Maynard.

Carla Ching's new play is a theatrical crime caper that's fast, funny, dark and dangerous. Fast Company is the first of the four world premieres on the Julianne Argyros stage during South Coast Repertory's 50th season. The show runs today, Oct. 6-27.
