Center Theatre Group (CTG) is now accepting submissions for the 2015 Richard E. Sherwood Award. The Sherwood Award is an annual $10,000 fund to support Los Angeles theatre artists. The award is presented each year at the Ovation Awards ceremony produced by LA Stage Alliance.

John Glore adapted the play from the book by Jon Scieszka and Lane Smith. The show, with a host of wacky characters and silly songs, is directed by Jessica Kubzansky and runs today, May 23-June 8 on the Julianne Argyros Stage.

MainStreet Theatre Company presents its final show of the season - the west coast premiere of Roald Dahl's The Magic Finger. British Playwright David Wood did the adaptation, which premiered at Imagination Stage in Bethesda, MD in 2013.
