The Muny and director John Tartaglia have staged an enchanted and epic tale as old as time for the second show of the Muny’s 105th season. This production of Disney’s BEAUTY AND THE BEAST is like no other production you’ve experienced before. The opulent scenic design, the elegant set decoration, the stunning costumes, the intricate choreography, the magical orchestrations and vocal arrangements are produced on the grandest of scale crafting a multi-layered technical theatre experience to enhance the exceptional performances of a richly talented cast. Tartaglia’s vision and leadership allowed his actors and creative teams to produce a luxurious show that is a visual, auditory and emotional indulgence.

Irish Repertory Theatre has announced two productions to begin its 2023 season. Irish Rep will present Endgame by Samuel Beckett January 25-March 12, 2023, on the Francis J. Greenburger Mainstage, with an opening night set for February 2, 2023.

Midnight Theatricals' west coast premiere production of the hit Off-Broadway and London sensation, AFTERGLOW, written and directed by S. Asher Gelman will extend one last time EXTEND ONE LAST TIME and must close Sunday, October 9 at the Hudson Theatre.

The absorbing script by S. Asher Gelman tries to take on the insensitivity and transitory nature of dating in the age of the internet and hook-up apps, though in the end, it’s really about the more organic and timeless issues of humans just trying to connect.
