On Saturday, October 30, PICT Classic Theatre will present their first live, in-person performance following the COVID-19 shutdown: William Shakespeare's As You Like It. PICT's first show of its 25th Anniversary Season returns to the company to their home in the Fred Rogers Studio at WQED October 30- November 20, 2021.
The PlayGround Experiment has announced the fifth presentation of new works created by members of the Voices of America Writers Workshop. The fourth group of writers to take part in The PlayGround Experiment's exciting new workshop are Lou Johnson and Bonita Elery. They'll be joined by Voices of America alumni Emma Claye, Angela Hsu, Michael Perdomo, and José Manuel Pereyra. The workshop culminates on December18th with a public presentation of excerpts from these writers' new works.
We, The People: A Multicultural Arts Night premieres on Thursday, December 3, at 7:05 pm EST. The event will be streamed live via Zoom. Tickets are free / donation-based.

The Alliance of Resident Theatres/New York (A.R.T./New York), the service and advocacy organization for New York City's 360 nonprofit theatres, celebrated 44 years of service and dedication to the theatrical nonprofit community at its annual spring gala on Monday, April 11. The evening was hosted by celebrated three-time Drama Desk nominee Julie Halston.
