The Maltz Jupiter Theatre?s Guild, founded seven years ago, announces a pledge of $21,200 to the Theatre?s Conservatory of Performing Arts (COPA). This pledge donation is made with a purpose to underwrite an extensive ?wish list? for the Theatre. Some of the items are a digital sound board, a major piece of theatrical equipment that will be used in all productions, two stage platforms, custom cabinets for the hearing-impaired assistive devices and plants for the lobby. In addition the pledge donation will also fund a COPA production. The Guild presented the check to Tricia Trimble, the Theatre's Managing Director on Tuesday, May 19, 2009.

Funding for this new program was granted by the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation, from the Community Foundation of Palm Beach and Martin Counties, and the Roy A. Hunt Foundation.
