Single tickets to the Maltz Jupiter Theatre's Imagine, Dream, Escape season go on sale Monday, August 31 at 10am. With over 7,000 season subscriptions sold for the upcoming season; now is the time to get your individual tickets and escape into the world of theatre!
The seventh season starts with a world-premiere musical, Fanny Brice: The Real Funny Girl, about the life and lies of the great comedienne featuring songs that made her famous. Next, Neil Simon's Pulitzer Prize winning coming-of-age comedy, Lost In Yonkers, surrounds the highly dysfunctional family of two boys. Immediately following is Broadway's blockbuster hit, La Cage aux Folles, filled with feathered "showgirls" and a tuneful score by Jerry Herman. Then join us for the all-American patriotic revue, Tintypes, featuring songs such as "Yankee Doodle Boy" and "America the Beautiful." Ending our eclectic season will be Cole Porter's splashy tap dance extravaganza, Anything Goes.
"This upcoming season will give our audience an opportunity to see five distinctive theatre productions," says Andrew Kato, Artistic Director of the Theatre, "All of them are full of heart, imagination and honesty and will be a great anecdote during these troubled times."
