Maltz Jupiter's EVITA Hits 100% Capacity, Entire Run Sold Out
The Maltz Jupiter Theatre is proud to announce that its hit production, Evita, completely sold out the entire run of the show! Ending the record-breaking season for the Theatre, this production sold over 13,000 seats and became the highest grossing musical in the Theatre's history.
With a 42-member cast including a 20-person ensemble, children's choir of 12 young local actors and 10-piece live orchestra, this epic musical tells the story of The Life of Argentina's infamous Eva Peron entirely through song and dance as she climbed her way up the ladder of success. Beginning in 1934, the story follows the young girl's early life as an actress through her eventual rise to power as the wife of General Juan Peron.
"This is the first time the Theatre has been able to achieve 100% capacity for the entire run of a show. We are grateful to the stellar creative team and cast for creating this landmark production," says Andrew Kato, Artistic Director of the Maltz Jupiter Theatre.
