Theatre Under The Stars (TUTS) has announced the cast of the first show in its 201920 Season, A Chorus Line.

Schaumburg Summer Theatre announces the cast for its thirty-first annual production of URINETOWN: THE MUSICAL, sponsored by the Village of Schaumburg and the Prairie Arts Foundation.

Ragtime is a deeply moving musical based on E.L. Doctorow's powerful book about immigrants and the fight for the American soul in the early twentieth century.

We got the chance to chat with Tony-nominated director and choreographer Marcia Milgrom Dodge about RAGTIME -- its relevance to the current U.S. political climate and what makes it one of the best musicals of the 20th (and 21st century).

Theatre Under the Stars' BEAUTY AND THE BEAST is the classic storybook tale vibrantly come to life in every aspect. From the captivating scenic design, to the brilliant costuming, to the songs that prompted many to sing along quietly to themselves in the audience, this 'tale as old as time' is a glorious re-imagination of the production that Theatre Under the Stars premiered for the first time 25 years ago in collaboration with Disney Theatrical Productions.

Now, just in time for the holiday season, TUTS brings this magical story to life once again for Houston audiences. Beauty and the Beast will be directed and choreographed by Broadway choreographer, Chris Bailey, who recently choreographed Gettin' the Band Back Together.

Ease on down the road with this fantastical production of The Wiz at Theatre Under The Stars! The show began performances on October 23, and will run through November 4 at the Hobby Center for the Performing Arts.

Leading off the cast is Salome B. Smith in the role of 'Dorothy'. Smith is a recent graduate of Alabama State University where she performed in many theatrical productions including The Color Purple, Rent and Carousel. Marva Hicks is playing the role of 'The Wiz'. Hicks has appeared on Broadway in Motown The Musical, Caroline or Change, and The Lion King. Yvette Clark will play the roles of 'Evilene', 'Glinda', and 'Aunt Em'. Clark has appeared in numerous regional productions including Thoroughly Modern Millie, Showboat, Chicago, and Hairspray. Simone Gundy will play the role of 'Addaperle'. Gundy returns to TUTS after starring in the 2017 production of Memphis. Paris Nix is playing 'Tin Man'. Nix was last seen on Broadway in Beautiful: The Carole King Musical. Allyson Kaye Daniel is 'Lion'. Daniel most recently appeared at TUTS as 'Miss Jones' in How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying. Her other credits include Newsies, Ghost, and We Will Rock You. Christopher Campbell, who just appeared in the TUTS production of Oklahoma! as Will Parker, will play the role of Scarecrow

TUTS' OKLAHOMA is now on stage through September 23rd! Priscilla Lopez stars as 'Aunt Eller' in the production and is joined by Sam Simahk as 'Curly,' Olivia Hernandez as 'Laurey,' Madeline Hamlet as 'Ado Annie,' Logan Keslar as 'Ike Skidmore', Hassan Nazari-Robati as 'Ali Hakim,' Christopher Campbell as 'Will Parker,' Eric Ulloa as 'Jud Fry,' David Sitler as 'Andrew Carnes,' and Dewey Caddell as 'Cord Elam.'
