GLAAD, the world's largest lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) media advocacy organization, announced today that actor and performer Shangela will host the 30th Annual GLAAD Media Awards in New York, while CNN news anchor Anderson Cooper will present the Advocate For Change Award to previously announced honoree Madonna, on Saturday, May 4, 2019 at the New York Hilton Midtown. Emmy and Golden Globe Award-winning actress Rachel Brosnahan (“The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel”), model and activist Winnie Harlow, multiple Emmy and GLAAD Media Award-winning director and producer Ryan Murphy (“Pose”) will join previously announced special guests Samantha Bee (“Full Frontal”), CNN's Don Lemon, and the cast of FX's “Pose,” including 2017 GLAAD honoree Billy Porter. GLAAD previously announced that Sarah Jessica Parker will present the Vito Russo Award to Andy Cohen.

60 MINUTES Has Exclusive Clip of GAME OF THRONES Premiere

It's the beginning of the end for one of television's most successful, expensive and ambitious series.  Game of Thrones starts its eighth and final season Sunday night, but not before 60 MINUTES goes behind the scenes with its actors and producers to see how it was made. The segment will also include an exclusive clip from the opening episode of the much-anticipated season.  Anderson Cooper reports from the fantasy land of Westeros on the next edition of 60 MINUTES, Sun. April 14 (7:00-8:00 PM,  ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. 

Showtime to Premiere Season Two of OUR CARTOON PRESIDENT on May 12

SHOWTIME will premiere the second season of its animated comedy series OUR CARTOON PRESIDENT on Sunday, May 12 at 8 p.m. ET/PT, and will feature an animated appearance from Queer Eye's Jonathan Van Ness. Additionally, SHOWTIME has released the official key art and trailer for season two, which will consist of 10 half-hour episodes.

Diana Miller has been named Executive Producer of CBS THIS MORNING. Miller has been with the program since 2014 and currently serves as Senior Broadcast Producer. 60 MINUTES topped the Nielsen List for the second straight week, drawing 12.6 million viewers to once again land at # 1, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for Sunday, March 31, 2019.  It was the fifth straight week – and the 14th time this season – the CBS News magazine finished among the top five programs.

GLAAD, the world's largest lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) media advocacy organization, announced today that it will honor Emmy Award-winning host, producer, and author Andy Cohen with the Vito Russo Award at the 30th Annual GLAAD Media Awards in New York City on May 4, 2019.  The award will be presented by Cohen's longtime friend and LGBTQ ally Sarah Jessica Parker. They join previously announced honoree Madonna, who will become the first woman ever to receive GLAAD's Advocate for Change Award. Cast members from FX's “Pose,” Samantha Bee and CNN journalist Don Lemon will also appear at the New York event.
