Speranza Theatre Company is proud to present the Summer Theatre Camp. Classes are split into two weeks starting on August 20th - August 23rd and August 27th - August 30th from 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM Students will write, rehearse, and perform a show THEY CREATE - audience is invited for a Thursday performance. Classes will be taught by Speranza Theatre Company at Hudson County Community College.

Even people familiar with August Strindberg may be surprised to learn that he wrote plays for children. The best example is 'The Black Glove,' his final Chamber Play. Its place in history has been obscured by a historical fluke: it premiered in 1911, after the close of Strindberg's Intimate Theater, which it was written for. This kept it out of many anthologies.
