This Week's New Classified Listings on BroadwayWorld for 7/8/2021 include new jobs for those looking to work in the theatre industry.

The Fulton Theatre has announced the schedule of its inaugural in person playwriting festival. “Stories of Diversity,” July 16 – July 18, 2021. The festival will feature three distinct and diverse plays that will engage the Lancaster community in much needed conversation.

An original Canadian musical, co-written by a Juno-nominated musician, will make its virtual debut this weekend. Written by Juno-nominated Murray Foster (Moxy Fruvous, Great Big Sea) and Kieren MacMillan (Masters of Music Composition, Rice University), The Quest explores the courage we need when we exchange imaginary monsters for real ones.

Yale Repertory Theatre will welcome audiences back to its theaters beginning in January 2022 for a season of three plays! The season will begin with a new production of Today is My Birthday, a critically-acclaimed comedy about loneliness in the age of connectivity, written by Susan Soon He Stanton and directed by Mina Morita.

American Repertory Theater has released footage of “Down at the Diner” from the December 2014 workshop of Waitress. This original opening number was subsequently cut and replaced with “Opening Up.”

Berkeley Repertory Theatre’s Artistic Director Johanna Pfaelzer today announced her first set of commissions. This dynamic group of artists’ previous works encompass a wide range of genres, forms, and subject matter. The commissioned artists will be supported from inception to world premiere productions at Berkeley Rep over the next few seasons.

After what will be a 23-month intermission, The Muny's 103rd season will open with the Muny premiere of Smokey Joe's Cafe, followed by The Sound of Music, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, On Your Feet! and Chicago.

American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) at Harvard University held its Spring Celebration on Saturday, June 5, gathering friends, fans, and supporters from across the US and 21 countries around the world virtually to celebrate departing Executive Producer Diane Borger and for a first look at what’s to come from theater. 

American Repertory Theater has announced its upcoming programming, including updated dates for Broadway-bound 1776, a new musical starring Idina Menzel, and much more. Billy Porter has teamed up with designer shoe brand Jimmy Choo to launch a collection of gender-neutral shoes.

1776 will now play May - July 2022 in the Loeb Drama Center before it plays at Roundabout Theatre Company in fall 2022 and begins a national tour in February 2023.  WILD in Concert is a new musical starring Idina Menzel, which was created by Tony and Obie Award-winning playwright V (formerly Eve Ensler).

As previously announced, producers JAGGED LITTLE PILL the 15-time Tony Award nominated Broadway musical, inspired by the ground-breaking album of the same name by Grammy Award winner Alanis Morissette, is coming to Sydney. Audiences will be the first outside of Broadway to experience this electrifying and inspiring production from September 23rd as it premieres at Theatre Royal Sydney.

LA Opera's next Digital Short, Gallup (Na'nízhoozhí), will premiere online on May 28. Tune in to watch at 2 PM!

American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) at Harvard University has announced new artists joining those previously announced at its virtual Spring Celebration to be held live on Saturday, June 5, 2021 at 7:30PM. 

Due to popular demand, a 2:30 p.m. matinee has been added to the Pandora Presents Disney Princess - The Concert engagement at the Fabulous Fox Theatre on Saturday, December 11, 2021. Tickets will go on sale Friday, May 28 at 10 a.m.

 Chuck and Lilli Cooper's concert with Seth Rudetsky, as part of the Seth Concert Series, premiered yesterday at 3pm and re-aired at 8pm. Check out a clip from the concert, featuring the pair performing 'The Life'!
