Michael Urie, Mallory Portnoy & More Join Fault Line Theatre's IRONS IN THE FIRE

 Fault Line Theatre will continue the 2022 Season of Irons in the  Fire, the organization’s reading series of new plays in development, with God Save the Queer by Zackary Grady, directed by Portia Krieger and featuring Michael Urie (George), Mallory Portnoy (Charlotte), Keshav Moodliar (Tariq), Seth Clayton (Louis), and Mary McCann (Kate).

Bang on a Can All-Stars Perform Julia Wolfe's STELL HAMMER at Carnegie Hall

On Thursday, March 3, 2022 at 7:30pm, the Bang on a Can All-Stars will perform Pulitzer Prize-winning composer, MacArthur Fellow, and Bang on a Can co-founder and co-artistic director Julia Wolfe’s acclaimed oratorio Steel Hammer at Zankel Hall at Carnegie Hall.

OUT OF TIME is written by Jaclyn Backhaus, Sam Chanse, Mia Chung, Naomi Iizuka, and Anna Ouyang Moench, Commissioned and Produced by NAATCO, and Conceived and Directed by Les Waters.

Undermain Theatre Presents WITHER GOEST THOU AMERICA:  A Festival of New American Play Readings

The Festival will feature readings by local playwrights, Parker Davis Gray, Erin Malone Turner, and Zander Pryor, along with Native American performance artist and activist Gregg Deal. Mr. Deal is the second recipient of The Katherine Owens/Undermain Theatre Fund for New Work and will close out the festival with his solo performance piece, The Punk Pan Indian Romantic Comedy. A selection of Mr. Deal's paintings and other work will be on display in our lobby as well.

American Theatre Group to Hold Free Play Reading Series

The American Theater Group (ATG), Somerset County’s newest professional theater company, will present a series of free Monday night play readings in February and March at the Mitchell and Ann Sieminski Theater at the Fellowship Cultural Arts Center in Basking Ridge, NJ. Ahmed Best directs the Los Angeles premiere of Hooded, or Being Black for Dummies by rising-star playwright Tearrance Arvelle Chisholm, set to open March 12 for a six-week run through April 18. Three “pay what you want” previews take place on March 9, March 10 and March 11.
