The new play OBSERVANT by Pamela Weiler Grayson will feature post-show discussions with the playwright, director Shellen Lubin, and cast members. The limited engagement runs from September 12-28 at The Chain Theatre.

Yale in Hollywood Fest concludes its 4th annual global edition and announces award winners. Justin Noble receives the Career Achievement Award and Cory Finley is named Visionary of the Year. The festival also recognizes outstanding short films in various categories. The event concludes with the announcement of 2024's festival dates.

Theatre East honored Richard Mawe with the 2017 Laurette Taylor Award on Monday, May 15th in New York City. Richard Mawe, an ardent supporter of the arts, served for decades as a teacher and Board President at HB Studio where he studied with Herbert Berghof and Uta Hagen. Manhattan Musical Theater Lab and The Schulberts will present the newest musical by the writing/producing duo Charlie Schulman & Michael Roberts, GOLDSTEIN, directed by Christopher Scott. The musical, which is aimed for an Off-Broadway production, will be presented on Friday, April 15 at 3pm and Monday, April 18 at 7pm at the Actors Temple Theatre (339 West 47th Street).
