Director of Nuffield Southampton Theatres (NST), Samuel Hodges, today announces full casting for the world premiere of Women in Power. NST Associate Director Blanche McIntyre directs Lydia Bewley, best known for The Inbetweeners, Plebs and E4's comedy Drifters, Elizabeth Boag, Anna Fordham, Lisa Kerr, Anne Odeke and Alicia Mckenzie. The production, in association with Oxford Playhouse, sees some of the UK's most influential female voices, Wendy Cope, Jenny Eclair, Suhayla El-Bushra, Natalie Haynes, Shappi Khorsandi, Jess Phillips MP and Brona C Titley, come together to write this musical comedy based on the Greek classic, The Assemblywomen. The production opens on 13 September at NST City, with previews from 6 September and runs until 29 September. It will then run at Oxford Playhouse from 3 - 6 October.

The Donmar announces full casting for Artistic Director Josie Rourke's production of Measure for Measure by William Shakespeare. Joining the previously announced Hayley Atwell and Jack Lowden are Ben Allen, Matt Bardock, Nicholas Burns, Jackie Clune, Rachel Denning, Molly Harris, Adam McNamara, Raad Rawi, Sule Rimi, Anwar Russell and Helena Wilson.

To commemorate the reopening of one of the most storied venues in theatrical history, Ambassador Theatre Group (ATG) just shared a collection of reflections and anecdotes from Broadway and Hollywood personalities that celebrate the history of Boston's historic Emerson Colonial Theatre. Following a refurbishment by ATG over the past two years, the theatre reopened last night with the first preview performance of the pre-Broadway world premiere engagement of Moulin Rouge! The Musical.

The New Group has announced four world premiere productions for its upcoming 2018-2019 Season. Harris' 'Daddy,' a co-production with Vineyard Theatre, directed by Danya Taymor, featuring Alan Cumming; and in Spring 2019, Jesse Eisenberg's Yea, Sister!, directed by Scott Elliott.

Windowsill Pies' Lazy Summer Strawberry and Cream Pie has been named the "Official Pie of WAITRESS New Orleans." The recipe will be inserted into all WAITRESS Cookbooks sold at the Saenger Theatre during the New Orleans engagement. Three-time Tony Award nominee and Laurence Olivier Award winner Andy Karl will star as 'Edward Lewis' in PRETTY WOMAN: THE MUSICAL on Broadway. Karl will assume the role from Steve Kazee who departs the production for family reasons.

Producer Adam Blanshay announces the launch of his new production company Adam Blanshay Productions with producer Edward Johnson. The box office for PRETTY WOMAN: THE MUSICAL will open Tuesday, May 22, 2018, at 10am (EST). Ben Levi Ross will be donning the iconic blue polo as Evan Hansen - direct from the Broadway company - in the Tony Award-winning musical's First National Tour, launching in Denver this October. Ross made his Broadway debut in Dear Evan Hansen last fall as a cover for Connor, Jared and Evan at The Music Box Theatre.
