New Commercial Production Company Adam Blanshay Productions Launched

Producer Adam Blanshay announces the launch of his new Production Company Adam Blanshay Productions with producer Edward Johnson. The company will produce world-class theatre and entertainment across all major commercial markets - including the UK, London, the US, Broadway and Australia. Prior to this Adam produced and co-produced over 50 productions worldwide, including: Kinky Boots; The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time on Broadway/US Tour; Sunny Afternoon in the West End; the Broadway revival of The Color Purple; as well as the Australian production of Matilda The Musical.

Current and recent projects include: co-producing credits for Angels in America on Broadway, The Colour Purple US tour, The Winslow Boy UK tour, Consent at the Harold Pinter Theatre, as well as Quartet UK tour and A Long Way From Home playing across London venues.

ABP most recently announced the return of Notre Dame De Paris at London Coliseum 23rd-27th January 2019, in co-production with Nicolas Talar for Enzo Products Ltd. Based on the novel Notre-Dame de Paris by Victor Hugo, this stage spectacular features an internationally acclaimed cast of singers, dancers, acrobats and a live orchestra, as well as unforgettable music composed by Richard Cocciante, with lyrics by Luc Plamondon. The original French production will be performed in London with English surtitles.

Adam Blanshay hails from Montreal, Canada, and is the recipient of five Tony Awards, six Olivier Awards, and one Helpmann Award. He was awarded the ADL's Future of Broadway Award, sits on the board of The Segal Center for the Performing Arts in Montreal and has a degree from McGill University.

Associate producer Edward Johnson studied at the University of Exeter and, since graduating in 2013, has produced, co-produced and directed an extensive number of musicals and plays which have toured UK and International theatres. Edward is also an alumnus of the Stage One New Producers Scheme.

Jonathan Brindley joined the ABP team this year as a producing assistant. Jonathan originally trained as an actor at East 15 Acting School, and has spent the last two years working in theatre management for Ambassador Theatre Group. Before joining ABP in January he co-founded the theatre company Lost the Plot Theatrical Limited.
