Outfest – the Los Angeles based non-profit organization promoting equality by creating, sharing, and protecting LGBTQ stories on the screen – today announced its 2019 Achievement Award recipient, Nisha Ganatra, and its galas, including Opening and Closing Night, for the 2019 Outfest Los Angeles LGBTQ Film Festival, presented by HBO. The nation's premiere LGBTQ festival will be held July 18-28, 2019.

The complete cast has just been announced for the 10th Anniversary Production of ROCK OF AGES, opening this summer at New World Stages (340 W 50th St). Nominated for five Tony Awards during its record-breaking Broadway run, this return engagement begins performances on Wednesday, June 19, 2019 for a 16-week limited run through Sunday, October 6, 2019.

Scotland, PA is Gwon's Roundabout commission following the debut of his musical Ordinary Days at Roundabout Underground.

The musical Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street is a 1979 thriller featuring music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim and book by Hugh Wheeler. The musical is based on a 1973 play of the same name by Christopher Bond. Sweeney Todd opened on Broadway in 1979 and won the Tony Award for Best MusicalThe Broadway production starred Len Cariou and Angela Lansbury, both of whom won Tony Awards for originating the roles of Sweeney and Mrs. Lovett.
Fleur'd Pins Celebrates World Pride With Boutonnière Benefiting Stonewall Community Foundation

FLEUR'D PINS, the collection of American-made lapel flower pins, has officially released the 'Pride Satin Dahlia' in honor of the 50th Anniversary of the Stonewall Riots. The Pride lapel flower pin celebrates and brings awareness to PRIDE Month hosted every June and World Pride; which will be in New York City this year. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to The Stonewall Community Foundation which funds over 100 nonprofits a year in over 30 issue areas of the LGBTQ community including a scholarship program and supporting LGBTQ+ refugees and asylum seekers. The Pride Satin Dahlia retails for $50.

Beetlejuice, the new Broadway musical comedy, will record a cast album to be released later this year. The show officially opened at Broadway's Winter Garden Theatre (1634 Broadway) on Thursday, April 25. The album - produced by Matt Stine, Alex Timbers, Eddie Perfect, and Kurt Deutsch - will be recorded May 5, 6 and 13.
