Theatre Royal, Glasgow has announced that under 30s, key workers and those receiving government benefits will be eligible to book £15 tickets for Cyrano de Bergerac starring James McAvoy, thanks to The Jamie Lloyd Company's 'Rush' ticket initiative. 

The Menier Chocolate Factory, in association with Sonia Friedman Productions, today announces the world première of a brand-new show Maria Friedman & Friends – Legacy, celebrating the brilliance of Marvin Hamlisch, Michel Legrand and Stephen Sondheim.

The first Cyrano Rush £15 tickets are released at 12pm today, Monday 24 January, for The Jamie Lloyd Company's critically acclaimed, Olivier Award-winning production of Edmond Rostand's Cyrano de Bergerac, freely adapted by Martin Crimp, directed by Jamie Lloyd, and starring James McAvoy.

The Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM) has just announced new dates for Jamie Lloyd's bold, Olivier-winning revival of Cyrano de Bergerac-written by Edmond Rostand and freely adapted by Martin Crimp-at the BAM Harvey Theater from Apr 5-May 22. It was originally scheduled for spring 2020 after a sold-out run at The Playhouse Theater. This production's 2022 engagements also include dates at London's Harold Pinter Theatre from February 3-March 12, and the Theatre Royal Glasgow from March 18-26.

Doorstep Productions has been founded by actors Maria Friedman and Adrian Der Gregorian.  Nothing can equal the experience of a live performance, so, while most theatres remain closed, Doorstep Productions will bring a slice of the West End to the people. 

Edmond Rostand's Cyrano de Bergerac is freely adapted by Martin Crimp, directed by Jamie Lloyd. Joining the Golden Globe and Olivier Award nominated James McAvoy (Cyrano de Bergerac) to complete the cast are Michele Austin (Ragueneau), Adam Best (Le Bret), Sam Black (Armand/Priest), Nari Blair-Mangat (Valvert), Philip Cairns (Referee), Tom Edden (De Guiche), Eben Figueiredo (Christian), Chris Fung (Usher), Adrian Der Gregorian (Montfleury), Carla Harrison-Hodge (Denise/Medic), Seun Shote (Theatre Owner), Kiruna Stamell (Marie-Louise), Nima Taleghani (Ligniere), and Anita-Joy Uwajeh (Roxane) with Vaneeka Dadhria, Mika Johnson and Brinsley Terence.

A company of more than 60 artists will bring The Iliad to life in a durational reading on Friday 14 August. The reading will begin at the British Museum and culminate on the Almeida stage.
