OF GREEN GABLES Marks First Joint Production Of Parallel 45 Theatre And Interlochen Center For The Arts

Parallel 45 Theatre and Interlochen Center for the Arts are embarking on their official partnership with a contemporary twist on L.M. Montgomery's beloved novel, Anne of Green Gables. Of Green Gables, an abstract exploration of the classic story, is directed by Parallel 45's Shelby Lewis and will feature Interlochen Arts Academy theatre students at Interlochen's Phoenix Theatre on Thursday, March 12; Friday, March 13; and Saturday, March 14, at 7:30 p.m., with an additional performance March 14 at 2 p.m. Admission is free and tickets are not needed.

Opera On The James Presents Rossini's THE BARBER OF SEVILLE

Opera On The James presents a new production of Gioachino Rossini's comic masterpiece, Barber of Seville. Marco Nistico, the company's General Director, announced that tickets are now available for performances at 7pm on March 27th and 2pm on March 29th. Cast Of 65 To Premiere HALL PASS, An Immersive Musical Inspired By High Schoolers

23 composers and playwrights have contributed new works to Blindspot Collective's upcoming production of Hall Pass, an immersive musical being presented by La Jolla Playhouse for the 2019 Without Walls Festival. During the performance, audiences will choose where to go and what to watch as 18 distinct plays and musicals unfold across the High Tech High campus in Liberty Station. Inspired in part by research and interviews conducted with high school students in New York, West Virginia, Illinois, Texas, and California, Hall Pass will feature a cast of 37 professional performers joined by students from the theatre department at Canyon Crest Academy.

Parallel 45 Theatre And Interlochen Center For The Arts Launch Official Partnership

Parallel 45 Theatre and Interlochen Center for the Arts have launched an official partnership, bringing two artistic powerhouses together to provide cutting-edge theatre to northwest Michigan. The partnership features three components, including the creation of a six-week dedicated residency for directors and theatre-makers to create new material utilizing Interlochen Arts Academy theatre students. The premiere of this residency will be held March 12-14 at Phoenix Theatre on the campus of Interlochen Center for the Arts.

Beloved Television and Stand-Up Comic Red Green Adds More Dates To His Fall Tour

Comedian Steve Smith, better known as Red Green, from the beloved Gemini Award-winning comedy series The Red Green Show, has announced the addition of several new dates for his 'This Could Be It!' fall tour throughout Canada, with more shows to be announced. Kicking off September 19 in Grand Prairie, Alberta, Red Green embarks on his final journey throughout his homeland, with a coast-to-coast trek that will culminate on October 30th at the Georgian Theatre in Barrie, Ontario.

Impact and Academy Theatres Present THE REROOTING

Academy Theatre and Impact Theatre Atlanta will be finishing their 2018/19 season with The ReRooting by Betty Chaney, directed by Brenda Porter. This play is the conclusion to the trilogy including The Rooting Place, presented in 2016, and The Uprooting, presented in 2017.
