City Theatre has announced approval for an American Rescue Plan award from the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA), a grant program which was funded to help the arts and cultural sector recover from the pandemic. GAVROCHE, a new musical based on Victor Hugo's novel, 'Les Misérables,' with book, music, and lyrics by Bonnie Gleicher, is having its California premiere at the Idyllwild Arts Academy.
