On March 13, Vineyard Theatre's 2017 Gala Fundraiser celebrated the 10th anniversary of Vineyard Theatre's hit musical [title of show] with Hunter Bell, Jeff Bowen, Susan Blackwell, Heidi Blickenstaff, and a toast to Broadway producer Kevin McCollum. Michael Berresse directed the gala show. Larry Pressgrove was the music director.

Vineyard Theatre presents the New York premiere of Kid Victory, book and lyrics by Greg Pierce, music by John Kander with story by John Kander and Greg Pierce, and directed by Liesl Tommy. Kid Victory began previews on Wednesday, February 1 and opened last night, February 22 at the Vineyard Theatre (108 E. 15 St. in New York City). 

Playwrights Horizons' A Life, the world premiere of a new play by Obie Award winner Adam Bock (A Small Fire and The Drunken City at Playwrights, The Receptionist, The Thugs, Swimming in the Shallows), just opened at the company's Peter Jay Sharp Theater (416 West 42nd Street). Originally scheduled to play a limited engagement through Sunday, November 13, the production will now play through Sunday, November 27.

Broadway stars and a host of musical presentations are on tap for the upcoming 2016-17 primetime television season. Included in THE LINEUP will be new series starring HAMILTON's Christopher Jackson, FROZEN's Kristen Bell and BRIDGES OF MADISON COUNTY star Stephen Pasquale.

Peter Friedman, Keilly McQuail, Naian Gonzalez Norvind,Robbie Collier Sublett, Joyce Van Patten and Mare Winningham are featured in the LCT3/Lincoln Center Theaterworld premiere of HER REQUIEM, by Greg Pierce, directed by Kate Whoriskey. HER REQUIEM opened last night, February 22, and runs for six weeks only through Sunday, March 20 at the Claire Tow Theater (150 West 65 Street). Check out photos below!

Playwrights Horizons presents the New York premiere of 2015 Pulitzer Prize finalist Marjorie Prime, a new play by Jordan Harrison(Maple and Vine, Doris to Darlene at PH; Amazons and Their Men; Kid-Simple; 'Orange is the New Black'). Commissioned byPlaywrights Horizons and directed by Obie Award winner Anne Kauffman (Detroit, Maple and Vine, Your Mother's Copy of the Kama Sutra at PH; Belleville; This Wide Night; The Thugs), the play is the third production of the theater company's 2015/2016 Season. The production opened last night, December 14, at Playwrights Horizons' Mainstage Theater (416 West 42nd Street), and will play a limited engagement through Sunday, January 3. Betty Buckley, Kathleen Chalfant, Holly Hunter, Tony Kushner, Matthew Morrison, Tonya Pinkins, Kate Mulgrew and more joinined host John Waters last night for Vineyard Theatre's 2015 Gala, honoring Tony Award-winning producer Margo Lion. The annual Gala Fundraiser took place at Edison Ballroom (240 West 47th Street between Broadway and Eighth Avenue), directed by Tony Award winner Michael Mayer(Hedwig, Spring Awakening, Brooklynite).

USA Network brings back two dynamic series in January. From Creator and Executive Producer Aaron Korsh, the critically acclaimed drama SUITS returns on Wednesday, January 28 at 10/9c for the remainder of its 4th season.

CBS has given full season orders to all four of its new dramas, including the #1 and #2 new series of the season, NCIS: NEW ORLEANS and SCORPION, Sunday's #1 scripted broadcast, MADAM SECRETARY, and the time period-winning suspense thriller STALKER.
