Luke Halferty BIO

Luke Halferty is a versatile actor and singer who's recent credits include Pittsburgh CLO's A Musical Christmas Carol as Young Ebenezer Scrooge, Malcolm in PICT Classic Theatre's production of Macbeth, The Pittsburgh Playhouse REP Professional Theater Company's Of Mice and Men as Curley, and the Point Park University Conservatory's production of Urinetown, the Musical as Officer Lockstock. The Pittsburgh, PA native is a graduate of Point Park University's Conservatory of Performing Arts with a BFA in Acting and a minor in Musical Theater.

Luke has had the pleasure of working at the Saint Vincent Summer Theater in Too Many Cooks and Jeeves in Bloom, as well as with PICT Classic Theater in Oscar Wilde's Lady Windermere's Fan and the Sherlock Holmes thriller, The Crucifer of Blood. Some of Luke's other Point Park Conservatory credits include Jud Fry in Rodgers and Hammerstein's Oklahoma!, Henry Clay in the raucous Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson, and Reverend Parris in Arthur Miller's American classic, The Crucible.

Pittsburgh CLO's THE FULL MONTY will take it all off at the Benedum Center this summer July 6 - 15. With a book written by Terrence McNally (Ragtime) and the music/ lyric talents of David Yazbek (The Band's Visit, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Women On The Verge of a Nervous Breakdown), this duo cooks up an aggressive crowd-pleaser that is both highly-entertaining and charmingly uplifting.

To complete his illustrious career leading Pittsburgh Public Theater, Ted Pappas has chosen William Shakespeare's Hamlet as the final play he will direct as the company's Producing Artistic Director. His cast of 21 actors will be led by Indiana, PA native Matthew Amendt.
