Elmwood Playhouse of Nyack NY will be presenting 'Rumors', written by Neil Simon and directed by Kathy Gnazzo. 'Rumors' is what we all need right now, a show that is guaranteed to make you laugh and your head spin! 'Rumors' runs March 15, 2019 thru April 6, 2019 Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm, Sundays at 2pm with an additional Thursday performance on April 4, 2019 at 8pm and an additional matinee on Saturday April 6, 2019 at 2pm. Bergen County Players (BCP) continues its 86th season with Church & State written by Jason Odell Williams and directed by Carol Fisher.  Church & State runs January 12th through February 2nd with curtain at 8 pm on Fridays and Saturdays, and 2 pm on Sundays. BCP's popular Questions & Artists talkback session will be held following the performance on Friday, January 18th. In 1947, Harry Truman was president, Jackie Robinson broke the color barrier in Major League Baseball, the first Polaroid camera was introduced and a UFO landed in Roswell, New Mexico. Oh yeah, and The Elmwood Playhouse, in Nyack, New York first opened its doors! Since then Elmwood has staged over 367 main stage productions, and had over 250,000 audience members have passed through their doors.

Elmwood Playhouse of Nyack NY will be presenting "The Odd Couple", written by Neil Simon and directed by Margaret Young. "The Odd Couple" is the classic comedy which opens the 70th season at Elmwood Playhouse.

Religious tolerance gets an intra-ethnic twist in the Bergen County Players production of "The Last Night of Ballyhoo." Written by playwright Alfred Uhry, of "Driving Miss Daisy" fame, Ballyhoo won the 1997 Tony Award for best play. This production, directed by Carol Fisher, starts its run on Saturday, October 22, ending on Saturday, November 12. Curtain goes up for Friday and Saturday performances at 8 pm, with Sunday matinees at 2 pm. It will be presented at the Little Firehouse Theatre, 298 Kinderkamack Road in Oradell.

Bergen County Players continues its 'From Page to Stage' season with Christopher Sergel's adaptation of Harper Lee's Pulitzer Prize-winning landmark American classic 'To Kill a Mockingbird' beginning Saturday, March 22nd and concluding Saturday, April 12th. This timeless tale of innocence and tolerance follows the journey of a young white girl whose father has been appointed to defend a black man framed for a crime he claims he did not commit. Performed at the Little Firehouse Theatre in Oradell, the drama provides a poignant look at justice and the human spirit, as told through the eyes of a young girl learning the mysteries and realities of adulthood. Performances are Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00 pm ($20) and Sundays at 2:00 pm ($16).
