Daniel Hahn is Playhouse Square’s Vice President of Education, overseeing programs serving over 200,000 annually. Key initiatives include the Children’s Theater Series, the Dazzle Awards, Disney Musicals in Schools, Family Theater Day and Sensory-Friendly Programming. A native Clevelander, Mr. Hahn joined Playhouse Square in April 2013 after serving as Great Lakes Theater’s Director of Education for 12 years. Originally trained as an actor at New York’s American Music and Dramatic Academy and the National Shakespeare Conservatory, he graduated summa cum laude from both Baldwin Wallace University (B.A., Theater) and the University of Akron (M.A., Theater).

BWW Review: Inlet Dance Theatre, Cleveland, Ohio


Dee Perry's narration required the dancers to move beyond the rhythm of the music (an original score by Jeremy Allen) in relationship to her voice. Wade took his audience into consideration, intending for the reactions of children to fill quiet places in the score. In this work, everyone participated - the audience a necessary collaborator in this read-aloud.
