Elegies is a heartfelt collection of songs about the deaths of various people Finn has known, including some of his closest friends and family members. This work is a commentary on the rewards and woes of being part of a family, a group of friends, and a society in good times and bad. Although the show is all about death and dying, it's no sad trip down memory lane. Never morbid, Elegies is touching, funny, and ultimately buoyant; floating on the spirits of those who inhabit its songs.

With COVID-19 still raging around the world, and cases still quite high here in Central Florida, one might believe that it will be some time before enjoying the thrill of live theatre once again. But as theaters face the unique challenges the virus poses to performers and audiences alike, many companies are considering unique ways to bring theatre to life for audiences at home. One example of this is the Staged Play Reading Series currently being offered by The Studio Theatre Tierra Del Sol in The Villages, FL, which brings partially staged, script-in-hand performances to its audiences at home (or wherever one might be quarantined). Their latest offering, a staged reading of Elenna Stauffera??s THE AUNTIE NETWORK, creatively tells the story of two women and the significant impact helping a young, pregnant mother has on their lives.
Enjoy a Staged Play Reading of The Auntie Network by purchasing a virtual seat for $10. Choose from Aug 14th, Aug 21st, Aug 28th, Sept 4th, or Sept 11th at 7pm EDT. Tickets are on sale now. There is much to love about the Garden Theatre's production of Frank Wildhorn's musical BONNIE & CLYDE; the cast is breathtakingly talented, the set, lighting, and costume designs are gorgeous, and the live (unseen) band is pitch perfect. Unfortunately, there is one major thing not to love about Frank Wildhorn's musical BONNIE & CLYDE, and that is Frank Wildhorn's musical BONNIE & CLYDE.
