Road Less Traveled Productions has announced UnScripted: Comedy Improv Night, its new weekly series (during regularly scheduled RLTP productions). UnScripted will take place select Wednesdays at 7:30pm at the Road Less Traveled Theater.

Due to illness, Road Less Traveled has postponed Mysterious Circumstances by one week and will open Thursday September 22.  

Road Less Traveled Productions will begin its 19th season with the second-ever production of Mysterious Circumstances by Michael Mitnick.  

In typical form, Road Less Traveled Productions in Buffalo presents a play to challenge and stimulate the senses in it's gripping production of TRIBES by Nina Raines. Never a company to shy away from forthright complex topics, TRIBES has been in the works for over 2 years, derailed by the Covid pandemic. Happily the production was worth the wait as it grapples with one dysfunctional family's life, that behind closed doors  often plays out with angst and venom masquerading as love

Due to rising cases of COVID within Western New York and for the safety of the actors, artistic personnel, staff and audience, Road Less Traveled Productions has made the difficult decision to postpone Tribes by Nina Raine.  

Road Less Traveled Productions will begin the new year with Tribes by Nina Raine. Tribes opens January 13 starring RLTP Ensemble David Marciniak alongside David Wantuck, Anna Krempholtz, Johnny Barden, Melinda Capeles and Margaret Massman under the direction of RLTP Ensemble Member Doug Zschiegner. 

After 20 months of sitting on a darkened stage at Shea's 710 Theatre, All For One Theatre Productions dusted off the set that has sat idle for the brilliant production of THE CURIOUS INCIDENT OF THE DOG IN THE NIGHT-TIME. The production closed on opening night in March 2020, never being able to be seen by a paying audience due to the Coronavirus Pandemic. Now with a vaccinated and masked audience, the abundance of talent that went into making this production can now be seen. It was definitely worth the wait.

The Jewish Repertory Theatre will present a filmed staged reading of 'Holiday Shorts' by Hank Kimmel, available for digital download, December 10-30, 2020. This is the second selection in a series of Five Staged Readings, performed on the JRT stage and seen, through the magic of video, wherever audiences choose to enjoy.

Playwright Annie Baker has penned her most recent play, THE ANTIPODES, using this idea as a construct for a present day 'theatre of the absurd' that hasn't been seen Ionesco's THE BALD SOPRANO. Happily Buffalo's Road Less Traveled Productions is presenting Baker's play in a knockout evening of theatre with some of the best ensemble acting you will ever encounter.

The Jewish Repertory Theatre of Western New York opens its 16th season with THE STRUDEL LADY, the story of Chava, an American-born, Jewish Orthodox wife and mother, who seeks to put her life back together when she is deserted by her husband and children. Embarrassed and confused about her identity and how to support herself financially, she seeks advice from a trusted older couple, who help her find independence, self-esteem and eventually love through her skill as a baker.

Wednesday, January 3rd, 2018 Road Less Traveled Productions (RLTP) will welcome 2018 with mystery sci-fi drama The Nether by Jennifer Haley. The Nether will star Steve Jakiel, Eve Everette, David Marciniak, Sabrina Kahwaty and Patrick Cameron under the direction of RLTP Ensemble member Katie Mallinson. Production team includes Dyan Burlingame (set design), John Rickus (light design), Maura Simmonds Price (costume/props) and Eric Burlingame (sound design).

The 2017 awards honor productions which opened between October 1, 2016 and September 30, 2017. Nominations were completely reader-submitted and after the nomination period ended October 31, BroadwayWorld's local editors proofed the list for eligibility and errors.
