David Kinder BIO

David was the kind of kid that was always taking pictures and home movies. He had a repressed, life-long passion for photography that was awakened in 2006 coincident with his (pre-mature) retirement after 25 years with Intel as a Software Engineering Manager. In addition to Event and People photography, he has extensive work with many of Portland's professional Theater companies including Staged!, Jane, Pentacle, Pixie Dust, Portland Shakespeare Project, Northwest Children's Theater, Oregon Children's Theater and more, as well as local high schools.

Lisa Kron's IN THE WAKE draws parallels between the personal and the political to suggest that even the most unimaginable outcomes aren't really that out there -- it's just that we're really bad at seeing past the end of our own nose.
