Steve Buscemi and Wren Arthur, under Olive Productions, are working on book adaptations and unscripted series ideas for TBS and TNT.

According to Variety, actor Steve Buscemi is is set to join the cast of the forthcoming Untitled Judd ApatowPete Davidson Comedy.  The film will be based on Davidson's life, including losing his firefighter father on 911. This will be Apatow's first film since Trainwreck. The cast also includes Marisa Tomei, Bill Burr, Maude Apatow and Bel Powley.

Last week I had the exceptional privilege of interviewing newly minted SAG and Golden Globe-winner for Best Actor In A Drama Series for his work on HBO'S BOARDWALK EMPIRE, Steve Buscemi, along with his wife, artist/choreographer Jo Andres, about their participation in the experimental music/theater space in Brooklyn, ISSUE Project Room. For those that are not aware, ISSUE Project Room is a community performance space for up-and-coming musicians, artists, performers and choreographers at 110 Livingston Street with the goal of creating a centralized space for all the arts - avant garde and otherwise. In addition to discussing their shared beginnings in the fringe theatre scene in the East Village in the eighties and the artists who inspired them, Buscemi and Andres also talk about the ultimate goals of the venue, both new and old, and the reason that now is the perfect time for a space such as this to flourish, as new artists get the opportunity to see their work produced. TNT and TBS today unveiled a broad array of plans for new programming, including several comedy projects that are being considered for TBS and a host of projects in development for TNT. The two cable giants staged a joint Upfront presentation in New York, with appearances by a legion of stars, including TBS's Conan O'Brien, George Lopez and Ice Cube; and TNT's Kyra Sedgwick, Ray Romano, Andre Braugher, Scott Bakula, Jada Pinkett Smith, Dylan McDermott, Timothy Hutton, Noah Wyle, Jason Lee, Alfre Woodard, Ben McKenzie, Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Breckin Meyer and Angie Harmon.

A report out on the hollywoodreporter.com yesterday has revealed that Steve Buscemi, Stanley Tucci and Wren Arthur, the stage a screen stars that also run the Olive Productions have, have established the company's first TV projects: a drama for HBO starring Tucci and an animated comedy for TBS that will be voiced by Tucci and Buscemi.
