Sudacas Theater, a new Latino American theater company has announced that it will present IMPLICATIONS OF COHABITATION, a new heartfelt comedy written by Vanessa Verduga about the implications of one man's life choices after his wife dies and he attempts to reconnect with his three adult children. The production, which begins previews on Friday, August 5th at Theater Row's Clurman Theatre (410 West 42nd Street), will have it's official opening on Friday, August 12th at 8:00PM and is directed by Argentinian director Leni Mendez. The American Academy of Dramatic Arts is pleased to announce the expansion of the Main Stage Live program for new play development with the presentation of a workshop production of The Shotgun Message by A. Rey Pamatmat, directed by Adam Fitzgerald.

Goodspeed Musicals, the first two-time Tony Award winning theatre in the country, is pumped to announce the cast of Cutman: a boxing musical. The brand new spring production will kick off a three show season at Goodspeed's Norma Terris Theatre in Chester, Conn. This striking musical will run from May 12 through June 5, 2011. The cast will train with the pros at the legendary Lion's Den in Middletown, Conn. Boxing equipment is generously provided by Everlast. Cutman is sponsored by Essex Savings Bank.

Brooke Shields, the internationally-acclaimed model and film, television and Broadway star, headlined the Broadway in South Africa (BSA) charity event last night, October 28, in New York City. Shields, a constant supporter of children's causes, joined a host of Broadway and New York City artists in donating their time and talents to support BSA's efforts toward providing children, from South Africa's neediest communities, with necessary life skills through arts education. The event took place at The Box and featured an evening of songs, dance and many surprise, vaudeville-style variety acts, typical of late-night shows produced at the lower east side hotspot.
