COSTA MESA, CA—The First National Tour of LEGALLY BLONDE THE MUSICAL began performances at the Orange County Performing Arts Center on September 8 and continues through September 20. The opening night after-party in Founder's Hall was decked out in pink in honor of Elle Woods' favorite signature color. The VIP event gave Center patrons and media the chance to congratulate the cast and crew on a well-received opening night performance.

The show's Orange County stop is also the tour's one-year mark on the road, which paved the way for many cast changes in the original ensemble. "New [cast members] always keep the show interesting," notes Megan Lewis, who plays Elle's foil Vivienne. While many of the new faces have already been rehearsing during the show's month-long stay at L.A.'s Pantages Theatre, Orange County will feature their debut in the show.

Performances of the hit musical continue in Orange County through September 20 before moving on to Tempe, Arizona.
