An exclusive viewing party of the first production to kick-off Crossroads Theatre Company's 2020-2021 season is being offered to the theatre's members on Sunday, October 4 at 4pm Eastern time via ZOOM. The Members Only event will feature Crossroads alumnus Anna Deavere Smith's film Twilight: Los Angeles 1992. 

On his day off from appearing as Hermes in the Broadway production of Anais Mitchell's Hadestown at the Walter Kerr Theatre, two-time Tony nominee and Emmy winner Andre De Shields headed to the Victoria Theater at NJPAC in Newark to celebrate his company of fabulous singers and dancers under his direction in the Crossroads Theatre Company and NJPAC's co-production of Duke Ellington's Sophisticated Ladies. Celebrating its 10th Anniversary, It Ain't Nothin' But the Blues was originally produced by in 1998 and went directly from Crossroads to New York where it was nominated for four Tony Awards including Best Musical. Opening with African chant and moving through some three dozen musical numbers, this rousing show traces the roots of the blues-America's cultural treasure.

The Colored Museum had its opening night at Crossroads Theatre Company in New Brunswick, NJ on Saturday, September 27.
