Mission to (dit)Mars, a theatre arts collective serving Queens artists, is thrilled to continue this season's Launch Pad Reading Series with BRIGHT ANGEL QUADRANGLE, a new play by Mac Rogers (The Honeycomb Trilogy, Frankenstein Upstairs).
Gideon Productions to Present KILL SHAKESPEARE at HERE, 3/1-5

Gideon Productions will present the stage adaption of Anthony Del Col and Conor McCreery's graphic novel KILL SHAKESPEARE for a limited engagement, March 1-5 at HERE (145 Sixth Avenue). The production will be directed by Jordana Williams and will feature Becky Byers* (Blast Radius), Neimah Djourabchi* (The Inexplicable Redemption of Agent G), Abe Goldfarb* (I Hope They Serve Beer on Broadway), Stephen Heskett (BrainExplode!), Daryl Lathon* (Sovereign), Kelley Rae O'Donnell* (Clown Bar), Mac Rogers (Ligature Marks), Brian Silliman* (The Particulars), and Sean Williams (Advance Man). On Monday September 19, 2011, the IT Awards (New York Innovative Theatre Awards), the organization dedicated to celebrating Off-Off-Broadway, and host comedian Harrison Greenbaum, announced the 2011 recipients at the Seventh Annual IT Awards Ceremony at Cooper Union.
This year's nominees represent 169 individual artists, 55 productions and 45 theatre companies. In 2011, the IT Awards had the most individual nominees than in any previous season with 169 nominees.
