Broadway In Chicago is pleased to announce individual tickets for a brand new production of THE SOUND OF MUSIC, produced by NETworks Presentations, will go on sale February 16.  THE SOUND OF MUSIC will play Broadway In Chicago's Cadillac Palace Theatre (151 W. Randolph) for a limited one-week engagement, April 10 - April 15, 2018, as part of a North American tour.

Networks Presentations LLC presents The Sound of Music, featuring music by Richard Rodgers, lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II and book by Howard Lindsay and Russel Crouse. The musical was adapted into an Academy Award winning film in 1965 starring Julie Andrews and Christopher Plummer. It is this beloved film version that is firmly and fondly remembered by many. Several songs from the musical have become familiar standards, including 'Edelweiss,' 'My Favorite Things,' 'Climb Every Mountain,' Do-Re-Mi' and the title song. The Sound of Music understandably remains one of America's favorite family musicals.

BWW Review: BEAUTY AND THE BEAST Goes Beyond Skin Deep

PNC Broadway in Louisville fills the Kentucky Center this week with the current tour of the 1993 Broadway hit Beauty and the Beast, the stage version of the 1991 Disney animated movie. The opening night audience included many family groups who clearly were fans of the movie.

First off, it feels superfluous for me to be reviewing this production, for the show is only running for two more days, so before you continue reading, buy your tickets to see it first.*

Stephanie Gray has been enjoying the opportunity of playing the role of Mrs. Potts in the tour of BEAUTY AND THE BEAST.
