An Oregon native, Simon grew up with a passion for the arts that eventually led him to the University of Michigan where he graduated with a BFA in Musical Theatre.
Simon most recently starred in HAMILTON as Marquis de Lafayette/ Thomas Jefferson in the National Tour and on Broadway.

HAMILTON Announces March 20 Closing In Los Angeles; Will Re-Open February 9th


Producer Jeffrey Seller has announced that the Los Angeles production of HAMILTON will conclude its more than 6-month engagement at Hollywood Pantages Theatre on Sunday, March 20, 2022. Performances began on Tuesday, August 17, 2021; this was the second HAMILTON production in the world to reopen after the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. Most recently, select performances of the Los Angeles production were cancelled upon discovery of COVID-19 breakthrough cases backstage.

As previously reported by BroadwayWorld, the cast of HAMILTON's three-week long engagement in Puerto Rico will launch a third national tour of the musical phenomenon. The show's creator, Lin-Manuel Miranda will play the title character in Puerto Rico, with Julius Thomas III (The Scottsboro Boys, Motown the Musical) taking over at the tour's next stop in San Francisco.
