Patricia Peterson jamison

Patricia Peterson Jamison began her thespian life as a child in the attic of her home, known as The Maple Street Players. From New Jersey to Vermont, Montreal, Switzerland, and Boston, she was constantly involved in theatre and music.

In between dramatic ventures, Patricia obtained her undergraduate degrees in Switzerland (where she studied under Pascal Franchot Tone) and at McGill University in Montreal, and her Masters at the University of Vermont. Her early career saw her as the Director of a large Student Services office at an elite New England college. She went on to consult for many years for The College Board and numerous colleges and universities throughout the country.

Patricia came back to theater in 2011 after a many year hiatus to raise her 5 children. Since, then, she has been following in her Mother’s footsteps, with favorite roles of “Lotte” in Castle Hill’s Lettice and Lovage, [EMACT DASH Best Supporting Actress Nominee], for Stage284: “Zoltana Karpathy” in My Fair Lady, “Miss Bennett in An Unexpected Guest, “Winifred Banks” in the magically inventive Mary Poppins , “Abby Brewster” in Arsenic and Old Lace, “Marmee” in Little Women and “Mother Abbess” in Sound of Music. She had also participated in several Black Box Lab projects onstage. In the Boston area, she’s loved doing “Nettie Fowler” in Carousel with FUDGE Theater Company, “Reverend Mother” in Nunsense and “Aunt March” in Little Women for Wakefield Repertory Theater. She portrayed “Abigail Adams” two years in a row in 1776 for MaMu Productions. Patricia can also be seen in HBO’s ‘Olive Kitteridge’ and ‘Black Mass’, but live theater is her favorite! This fall she stepped into the role of Elizabeth in the full stage production of Saltonstall: One man’s stand against the Salem witch trails at Northern Essex Community College in Haverhill, Mass.

Patricia also ran the Cultural Enrichment programs for a regional school district in Massachusetts for years. She was a Founding Member of Stage284 and Co-Founder of Black Box Lab at Stage284. Patricia and her husband have owned several businesses, many with an emphasis on leadership development, educational consulting, entrepreneurship, health and wellness, and fundraising, among others. They currently are partners in several successful, award-winning restaurants in Boston.

Patricia has been a soloist for many years at a number of concert venues and churches in New England. After decades on stage and behind the microphone, she has also taken on the production side of theatrical events. Whether helping to Produce theatrical shows, fundraising events, or serving as Casting Director, the organizational tasks and coordination provide new and rewarding challenges. She lives in Topsfield with her husband, 3 black rescue labs, and occasional returns of adult children and grandchildren.
