New York, NY - CreateTheater, under the artistic direction of Off-Broadway producer Cate Cammarata in association with The Prism Stage Company, have announced the 2023 New Works Festival Awards from their annual New Works Festival that ran from May 23rd to June 11th at Theater Row.

CreateTheater, under the artistic direction of Off-Broadway producer-director-dramaturg Cate Cammarata in association with Prism Stage Company, today announced the 2022 New Works Festival Awards from their first new theater festival that ran from April 15th to May 15th at Theater Row (410 West 42nd Street).

Amas Musical Theatre will present the fourth year of “Dare To Be Different,” a festival of new musicals and special events, from January 27 – February 18, 2022 at A.R.T./New York Theatres (502 West 53rd Street – 10th Avenue & 53rd Street).

Bay Street Theater's World Premiere of MY LIFE IS A MUSICAL opened last night and runs through August 31. This musical comedy with book, music and lyrics by Adam Overett, is directed and choreographed by Marlo Hunter. Presented in association with Martin Platt, David Elliott, Cheryl Wiesenfeld, Joan Raffe& Jhett Tolentino, and Patrick Blake, with additional support from the Joseph Stein Fund for new musicals and Adriane and Jerry Cohen.
