It's Summer, that special time when New York City opens its vast array of parks and outdoor spaces to the sound of music. Jazzmobile returns with its 58th annual Summerfest series, which takes over a myriad of stages throughout the city's five boroughs with a dancing and diverse assemblage of nearly 30 jazz stars and emerging talents from July 6 to August 31.
This Sunday, Oct. 17, renowned jazz musician Nat Adderley, Jr. will hit the stage at Parker Jazz Club (114 West Fourth St., Austin, Texas). Nat will appear in concert with his band and special guest Kenny Williams to benefit THE ADDERLEY FOUNDATION, which provides scholarships and financial assistance for underserved students.

Highlights include the Marcos Varela Quartet on Oct. 12 during Parker Jazz Club’s Jazz Therapy Session, The Adderley School Presents Broadway & Jazz with Nat Adderley, Jr. on Oct. 17, and Dale Watson is scheduled to perform as one of the first guest in the club’s new Parker Jazz Orchestra Series on Oct. 27.
